The conference theme this year is Blessed to Be a Blessing: Christian Education for the 7th Generation & Preaching from the Center, and will be held October 24-27 in conjunction with Preaching From the Center at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Approximately 800 Christian educators and preachers from all across the United States will be in attendance for training, worship and networking. CEF will also be celebrating its 40th anniversary during our time in Albuquerque.
In the document links below, you will find the exhibitor/vendor materials for the 2008 Christian Educators Fellowship Conference, as well as information on housing and how to participate in the conference as a registered attendee. The deadline for booth/table reservations was June 15, 2008, but limited space may still be available.
Conference participants will have a strong professional interest in the local church; its ministries of Christian education and preaching; and the resources, goods and services to support those ministries. Many participants will be looking for new ideas and materials for use in their home churches or agencies. You will be one of over 50 exhibitors/vendors in The CEF Discovery Station which we want to be a place to uncover new and exciting resources, and encounter cutting-edge ideas.
It is our hope that your display/booth will incorporate the theme of the conference, celebrate our 40th anniversary, and be designed, as much as possible, as a learning center of creative activity. Cokesbury Bookstore will, once again, be the official bookstore and provider of United Methodist resources at the event. We do reserve the right to limit certain types of vendors so that the same product is not repeated many times for sale.
The fee schedule for display space is listed below. Vendors wishing to reserve more than one booth will be limited to a maximum of three booth spaces.
CEF Member Exhibitor, UM Board/Agency, Non-Profit Organization: $150.00 each
For-Profit Organization, Retail Vendors: $200 each
Additional tables (maximum 3 per exhibitor): $60 each
Tabletop Exhibit, display only (one table limit): $75.00
Meal Ticket (opening banquet, Pueblo Center Celebration, Sunday boxed lunch): $80.00 each
Please note that the booth/exhibit fee does not include the cost of conference registration. Vendors/exhibitors may participate in the conference as a fully registered attendee for $295 for CEF members and $395 for non-members through Feb. 29, 2008.
