Come from the four corners of the earth, all you
peoples:
laity and clergy, dedicated volunteer
and overworked staff,
from small church, large church, church on the decline
or rise,
Come to the center where cultures, spices, and
geography fuse,
where water is precious and the sun is plentiful.
Come, carried by the winds of the Great Spirit, and
reflect with others on our connections to the
generations
before us and those yet to come,
on our interdependance with one another and with all of
creation.
Come, gather in celebration, seeking transformation and
discovery,
as we--stewards of God's blessings--
connect our story to God's story.
